My eats are going to be so boring until Vegas and then fun for a few weeks and then boring again until the wedding. Oh well it’s worth it. Breakfast was protein pancakes that I ate in a baggie on my way to work in the car – no pic obviously. M2: Stuffed chicken, sweet potatoes, avocado and veggies M3: Steak, sweet potatoes and veggies M4: Chicken, avocado and veggies M5: Egg whites with veggies (not pictured yet because I haven’t had it yet) M6: Protein shake with water I found the cookies and cupcakes before my night class when I was eating M4 -> I wanted one so badly but instead I ate my chicken and went upstairs. I had more starchy...
Read MoreSo our Two Year Blogiversary has come and gone it was February 26th and last year I had a great post for it and I have my first ever blog post too. This year I was so slammed with life that I did post on Facebook about it and even though we didn’t get to 10,000 Likes the day OF our Blogiversary, we got there the day after so I am going to host a giveaway with FireDaughter Clothing – my all time favorite local workout clothing designer. Samya is amazing. I am going to give her a minute to get back to normal before I host it because she has a loss in her family she is dealing with so I will probably do it next week. So a little late but Happy Two Year...

Read MoreWarning! This is not a ‘clean’ recipe but the Fatkid is obsessed with it so I thought I would share it with you guys in case not everyone in your family eats clean all the time. Put 3-4 chicken breasts in the slow cooker – I use frozen boneless, skinless. Cut up one onion and put in as well. Mix together: 1/2 cup zesty italian dressing 1/2 cup – 1 cup barbecue sauce 1-2 tbsp brown sugar Pour over the chicken and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until chicken shreds apart easy. Done! It even tastes good cold for lunch the next day. Now for the updates I am cracking down to study for finals but first I was able to celebrate one of my bridesmaids...
Read MoreSooooo…… first off – thank you to everyone who commented or messaged me about our engagement pics I couldn’t be happier with them. Now for a little brutal honesty…. I have been thinking about shutting down the blog. I know. I feel like it can’t really be a surprise based on how little I have been blogging lately and to be honest I sort of felt like I just forgot why I started it in the first place. Then I got my own swift kick in the butt today when I opened a message from Beth (one of my readers who has written me a few times with questions or comments). She dropped a note to let me know how she was doing with her fitness and health goals and...
Read MoreSo I won/bought a month of unlimited classes at Pure Barre last spring during the Silent Auction I co-chaired and I was waiting to try it out until I had a more set schedule to make sure I got the most out of it. Also, here is the description from the Pure Bare website: Pure Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat in record-breaking time. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to fantastic music, Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body....
Read MoreI thought I would give you guys some positivity before I rag on leg day LOVE this quote. I am sorry but I literally HATE this leg day (LiveFit 51). I never thought I would say it, but it’s true. Thankfully this is the last time I have to do this workout so that’s a good thing. I also went and did 30 minutes of cardio after school today because I didn’t have time to do it right after legs this morning. I know the trainer doesn’t have cardio on leg days, but that is the one day I have to do it or my legs get too tight and I end up hurting my hamstrings. On a happy note I finally found a new theme I like and one that allows you guys to post...
Read MoreSo because I am adding an extra day of legs in at the beginning of Weeks 1 & 2 (yesterday I did legs), today is technically Day 9 for me on the trainer even though I did the workout from Day 8. Sorry if it’s confusing at all. It won’t be once I get past this week because I won’t have to add in the extra day. I felt like crap yesterday so I slept in this morning but I made sure to pack all my stuff for the gym to go right after school. I was debating just going home (still didn’t feel good) but the gym won after I saw this on Pinterest. I’m so glad it did because it was a quick (40 minute) workout but my triceps were dying at the...
