Today is WIAW #9
my eats are pretty boring right now (and will be for the next four weeks) while I finish up the LiveFit program. I promise once I am done I will be more exciting!

Ingredients:
Blend together and put in the pan. It makes about 3 pancakes.
Perfect way to start the day
although I am missing my pp oatmeal.
Morning snack was 1/2 cup greek yogurt with chia seeds, flaxseed and hemp hearts. If you have never tried hemp heart I recommend them – I just bought them for the first time and really like them.
Lunch and afternoon snack were the same. Lemon chicken with yams and assorted veggies.Dinner was an egg white open faced omelette with tomato, onion, spinach and chile verde.
Before bedtime snack was egg puffs from Electra. I tried making these a few nights ago but they tasted too much like eggs so I tried something else tonight. A lot of people add some sort of sweetener to them but I wanted to do it without.

These ones turned out really good flavor wise. I just can’t decide how I feel about the consistency.

Do you use whites from a whole egg or liquid whites for the egg puffs?
Me too! I used whites from a whole egg because that’s what I have in the house always. Also, I have heard that it doesn’t work with carton egg whites.
I’ve been wanting to try those egg puffs! what do you whip them with? I have a hand blender, an immersion blender, a regular…and a big bicep:)
They were definitely better the second time around – less egg taste
I just used an electric hand mixer – it takes a while though!
