So last week I bought pork (besides bacon) for the first time and make the slow cooker bar-b-que pork recipe I posted. I also made this sweet and sour pork recipe from Clean Eating. I have to say because I am not a fan of soy sauce, this was not my favorite, but it was a big hit with the Fatkid. He had it over brown rice for dinner. It was super easy and quick to make and he liked it cold for lunch the next day too.

The original recipe also had:
But I didn’t have them so I had to make do without

Super easy

Today was Day 58 of LiveFit and it was the first time I have ever done sprints (without giving up after one or two). I was happily surprised that I actually really enjoyed them. I think part of the reason is that I recovered in the 30 sec off time much faster that I thought I would (I was planning on heaving and huffing the whole time) and my GymBoss Interval Timer made it so easy to keep track that I didn’t even have to look at the screen. Since I didn’t have to look at the screen I was never counting down the time and instead was just going until the timer on the GymBoss went off. This is literally one of the best gifts I have ever receieved (my little bro got me the pink one for my birthday last year) and it is only $2o.
Lucky for you guys Christina is giving one away this week so you can get one for free. Just check out her blog and enter the contest.
Today was also the first day I actually felt like my arms are getting back to where they were last year – yay!! Sorry no pics but I didn’t have my iPhone at the gym with me today.
What exercise did you think you would hate but ended up loving?
Have a great night!

I don’t eat pork, but I bet this would be great with chicken. Your workouts are hard core. Are you going to do “before” and “after” pics?
Thanks! I haven’t decided yet if I am going to do progress pics for the trainer or not
I was surprised how much I loved sprints when I started doing them
However, I have cut them out for now to get some muscle gains. I know that I won’t lose lots of muscle doing sprints, but I am seeing good results doing what I am doing, so I will keep them cut out of my training for now. I still get my mall cardio
hahaha.
P.s. I just realized you and I are the same height which really excited me
As you and I both want to gain muscle, I am going to look back at your daily eats and pay closer attention now
I love meeting people the same size as me <3 and I know I burn lots of cals too and ever since you posted about that bodymedia I can't stop thinking about how similar our bodies must be!
I know – I probably won’t do them for a while after the trainer to gain some. Keep in mind the last few weeks I have been eating less than normal to try to stick to the trainer
normally I am around 1800 calories a day.
I’ve fallen in love with Raquetball. I’m sure that I’m not playing correctly, but there’s just something about running around a little room, chasing a little ball and then slamming it against the wall so I can start chasing it again. I have to thank my 12 year old son for getting me hooked!
BTW – where can I find/buy the amino acids for this recipe?
I have never played because I am afraid it will hurt if I get hit – haha I’m a chicken!
I found it at a local health food store – most should carry it.
