So because I am adding an extra day of legs in at the beginning of Weeks 1 & 2 (yesterday I did legs), today is technically Day 9 for me on the trainer even though I did the workout from Day 8. Sorry if it’s confusing at all. It won’t be once I get past this week because I won’t have to add in the extra day.
I felt like crap yesterday so I slept in this morning but I made sure to pack all my stuff for the gym to go right after school. I was debating just going home (still didn’t feel good) but the gym won after I saw this on Pinterest.
I’m so glad it did because it was a quick (40 minute) workout but my triceps were dying at the end.
The Fatkid requested the meatloaf I made him for lunches again (I wasn’t a huge fan but maybe it’s a boy thing) so I decided I could share it with you because even though I didn’t particularly like it, you might.
I adapted the recipe from Clean Eating Magazine:
Ingredients:
1 package 93/7 lean turkey
1/2 yellow onion chopped
a handful of baby carrots chopped
2 garlic cloves chopped
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 egg
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp peppers
a few shakes of worcestershire
Directions:
I threw the onion, carrot and garlic in the food process for a quick minute so I didn’t have to chop it so fine.
Mix together everything but the oats, worcestershire and spices. And then add those in.
Bake in a loaf pan at 375 for 30 minutes. Remove and add a glaze of your choice to the top (I use worcestershire and hot sauce). Bake for 5-10 more minutes or until done.
Unfortunately meatloaf is just ugly so I’m sorry about the pic (pre-oven).
I also made myself my favorite turkey chili for my lunches the next few days (some black beans added in at the end of cooking) and some more garlic-lime quinoa.

Happy Tuesday!
